If you are having sleep problems, this book would be an inexpensive first try to solving your problems and may be all you need. If you have a problem with insomnia, this is a good book to help you zero in on the problem and take steps to work on changing that. Davidson has worked with sleep problems for years. She discusses a lot of different things that affect sleep and provides charts and instructions so you can keep a good journal to work with.
There are a surprising amount of subjects affecting insomnia and you'll also find a large bibliography to reference. The book is well organized and easy to follow.

Sink Into Sleep by Judith Davidson, is a great reference tool for anyone experiencing sleep disruption. The writing is clear, concise and understandable, and gives the reader valuable insight into sleep disorders and disruption, as well as specific steps to document and improve sleep through cognitive behavior modification.
I learned more helpful information and suggestions than I expected, and found some consolation in the knowledge that so many others suffer from similar problems. The best part of this book is the sleep journal that helps the reader gather meaningful data about the quantity and quality of sleep, in order to take meaningful steps to become better rested.
I found this to be a very readable and informative book, and have already started my sleep journal and hope to see positive results in my quality and duration of sleep soon. Recommended highly to anyone with sleep difficulties, or interested in helping others improve their quality of sleep.
